Meet Some of Our Students
Andrea A.
Andrea is an inspiring leader with a positive and uplifting attitude. Her BLAST Project, planning the Youth Climate Justice Summit, benefited 100 Chicago area students, 20 teachers, and 15 schools. She was also instrumental in the success of The World We Inherit: A Climate Gallery.
Rakshita R.
An innovator and leader, Rakshita started Power a Better Future, a youth movement for a clean energy transition. She advocates for sustainable business practices and played a significant role in District 203's Carbon Action Plan.
Adi J.
Adi is skilled in creating videos and generating social media engagement. By participating in youth panel discussions, like Planet Earth's Future and speaking at civic events, he connects with audiences by sharing personal stories to inspire action,
Anushka S.
Anushka works to make her city and school more sustainable by meeting with elected officials and administrators, and speaking up at City Council and School Board meetings. She helped create a successful The World We Inherit: A Climate Gallery.

May is one of five Accelerate Climate Solutions interns who live in the Solomon Islands. She was St. Nicholas College's top biology student in 2025, and her scientific acumen is on full display in this video she helped create as part of her internship.

Inventors of Microbial Fuel Cell (BLAST 2025), Aardash, Naga, and Kirithik are future engineers who want to use their skills to create real solutions to pressing environmental and climate problems.
