District 204 Students Receive Recognition for UN Film
At a district 204 board meeting, held September 28th, students received recognition from board member Natasha Grover. These students received recognition for the work they did over the summer with students across the world in the Solomon Islands. Their work on climate change and its impacts on water and air quality has been selected to be a part of the United Nations Youth Climate Report. The video will also be shown at the Conference of Parties (COP) in Turkey! Thank you district 204 for the shoutout.
Andrea Ramirez, an intern at Accelerate Climate Solutions, also spoke at the district 204 board meeting. She spoke about the importance of advocating for climate action and climate change in school. Andrea also spoke about our students' film that will be shown at the COP in Turkey which she will also be attending. She also mentioned another way that students can get involved through the Changemaker Green Challenge.
Please support our students by watching, liking, and sharing their video! If you want to see what board member Natasha Grover and intern Andrea Ramirez had to say, you can also check that out on our YouTube page.
