Accelerate Climate Solutions to Sponsor the Chicagoland EcoVoyager!

We are proud to announce our sponsorship with the Chicagoland EcoVoyager, a student-led initiative to promote sustainable and eco-friendly tourism. This project really caught our eye at our annual Building Leadership Around Sustainable Transformation (BLAST) competition this year because it aligns beautifully with our mission: to promote practical solutions, bettering our planet and its communities.

Wednesday Volunteer Intern

Chicagoland EcoVoyager is not just an app—it’s a movement. Designed by Jimena Argueta, a rising senior at Waubonsie Valley HS, the platform makes eco-conscious travel more accessible and powerful. The app helps tourists explore Chicago through a sustainable lens by guiding them to eco-friendly businesses, restaurants, shops, and accommodations.

“Traveling can be a wonderful way to appreciate the natural beauty of the Earth, but there is often a large carbon footprint associated with it. Whether that be from the emissions of the flight to the places we choose to buy and eat from, everything has an effect on the local residents and environment” - Argueta

We are helping to cover the website development and publishing/outreach aspect through our sponsorship, so we can make sure that this dream does not just stay on paper. With our group of innovative interns, we’re sure she will have a fun time developing her project. We’re very proud to provide support toward the next generation of climate leaders. These leaders blend tech with education, as well as activism, in meaningful and phenomenal ways.
